The pre-registration and on-site registration desks will be open for individuals during the following days:

ADMISSION
Participants are kindly requested to wear their badge during all congress activities to be admitted to the scientific sessions and all the areas of the congress.
Lost badges will be replaced against the payment of a handling fee of €60,00 (local VAT included) and upon proof of original registration.
Please note that children are not allowed in the Congress area.
CLOAKROOM
A cloakroom is at participants’ disposal at their charge, with the following opening hours:
FRIDAY, June 17 from 12.00 to 20.00
SATURDAY, June 18 from 07.15 to 20.00
SUNDAY, June 19 from 07.15 to 20.00
MONDAY, June 20 from 07.15 to 15.00

LANGUAGE
The official language of the Meeting is English. Simultaneous translation will not be provided.
LUNCHES
Congress admitted participants are entitled to receive a box lunch free of charge on June 18, 19 and 20, 2022. Box lunches are served upon presentation of the related daily coupon, that each delegate receives along with the badge.
The 31st European Meeting on Hypertension and Cardiovascular Protection supports the Non-Profit Organization “Boroume”. At the end of the event, fresh left-over/exceeding food, maintained in accordance with food hygiene and safety rules, is delivered to charitable organizations for the vulnerable social groups.
SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME
The European Society of Hypertension care about the planet!
In the occasion of the upcoming meeting in Athens, we will act to reduce the amount of printed paper to use less water, conserve energy, help preserve adult trees and contribute to reducing the global CO2 emission.
For this reason, the Scientific Progamme will be available only in digital version. No printed version will be provided. You can download it from the official event website or find it on the event APP ESH Annual Meetings!
Please make sure that you will download the programme before the congress starts, to have all scientific and practical information immediately available.

All meeting areas are covered by free Wi-Fi connection, throughout the duration of the Annual Meeting.

CERTIFICATES
Certificates of attendance will be sent by email immediately after the congress.
E-POSTER
A Digital Poster Area will be set up at the Congress venue, with electronic stations where all E-posters may be viewed throughout the Congress.
ABSTRACT BOOK
Accepted abstracts are published in the supplement of the Journal of Hypertension, available in the virtual congress bag, on esh2022.eu, and on eshonline.org.
MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
The Centre has a First Aid facility with a fully qualified nurse which operates during the event.
In case of need please contact the Congress Secretariat.
NO-SMOKING
Smoking in the Meeting area is not allowed.
MOBILE PHONES
Delegates are kindly requested to set their mobile phones on silent mode in the Rooms where scientific sessions are being held.
PROGRAMME CHANGES
The organizers cannot assume liability for any changes in the programme due to external or unforeseen circumstances. Please check the website or the official APP for regular updates. The organizers reserve the right to cancel, postpone, relocate, or change any of the sessions or to add new sessions.
Health and Safety EU COVID Certificate & SAFETY MEASURES
Travellers arriving in Greece, regardless of their country of origin, are no longer required to present the EU COVID Certificate (certificate of vaccination or recovery, or evidence of a negative test result from SARS-CoV-2 infection).

To attend our congress, participants are no longer required to present EU COVID Certificate when entering the venue. However, there will still be some safety measures in place. We recommend to:
– wear a mask (FFP2 or medical mask) in all Common areas and Meeting Rooms
– wash your hands often and use the hand sanitizers located in the congress venue
– a fist bump is safer than shaking hands. Choose it!
UNEXPECTED CANCELLATION OF THE EVENT OR IMPOSSIBILITY TO HOLD IT
In the unlikely case that the ESH 2022 Meeting cannot be held in whole or in part due to any event beyond the Organisers’ control or force majeure (such as riot, fire, explosion, accident, flood, earthquake, sabotage, strikes, acts of any government, etc) the Congress Organisers cannot be held liable for any damage, cost, or loss incurred, such as registration fee, transportation and accommodation costs, or any other direct or indirect loss or consequential damage.
INSURANCE
Congress organizers cannot accept liability for personal injuries or for loss of or damage to property belonging to congress participants, either during or as a result of the Congress. Therefore, please check the validity of your own insurance.
